Dawn and our team directs you into the most authentic interaction for a super fun and amazing experience. We love that video also allows you to relive this once in a lifetime moment whenever you watch your film. The way the sun was shining, the way your dress touches the sand, the way you looked at one another – all documented to relive again. We offer a full ceremony edit, so you can rewatch those teary or heartfelt words expressed again, and we also include a short highlight film to capture all the “best of” moments and snippets of your best day ever! Relive the feelings, feel the love and capture the story of your wedding day. Along with photography, we round out telling the best love story possible – yours!
Our Big Island based team will help capture the love and emotion between you two in a short film
During COVID in 2020, when families couldn’t gather and couples chose to elope solo more often, we decided to add video services to our packages. This additional service allowed couples to share their special day with those that couldn’t attend in person and also capture the magic from their day. We also had another goal – to make elopement videography affordable!

The Process
Please head on over to my contact page to check availability. When you contact me, please tell me your name, your partner’s name, where you’re getting married and your target wedding date. I will respond to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. If I’m available for booking, I will send you a brochure with my current pricing and package options. Please don’t put off booking your wedding early! 9 to 12 months in advance gives you a much better chance of landing a spot. My calendar for large weddings usually books up a year in advance, so reach out early if I’m your first choice for videography or photography.

If I seem like a good fit for your vision and budget, we schedule a phone call to review all of the details. I help you with everything from an estimated timeline, coverage details, answering questions about day, flow, etc… I help you fill in the blanks of how your day will potentially play out, and we determine the amount of coverage you will need. I will then put all of that in writing for you and send you a proposal for services. I’m always here to answer your questions, and having been a part of over 700+ weddings, I’m well versed in all of the wedding day issues that can arise, and will help you every step of the way to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

Once you have secured your date with a retainer, you’re officially on my calendar! Of course if you have any questions beforehand, I’m always happy to make vendor recommendations, assistance regarding wedding clothing or shoe choices, beaches, restaurants, etc… anything to make your wedding more memorable! I also cover some of the common questions in my FAQ’s section.
Ask me questions and start planning
I will touch base with you within the month of your wedding to review final timelines, etc. We can review the finer details of your formal photo list and timeline. I’ll ask you for any video “must-haves” or any other details you want to share. We will make sure to cover everything so there are no surprises on the wedding day. On the day of, our team will show up early, chat with you, then I’ll blend into the background while you fully enjoy every moment of the day. We will step in when we need to, offering direction. Just remember to savor the day. It goes by so fast! But don’t worry, we'll be there to capture all of it so you can relive every moment, big and small.
Perfect the timeline and enjoy your big day!
Within a month you will receive your beautiful wedding films! I have been averaging between 4-6 weeks to deliver, so as soon as I’m done perfecting your images, they will be on their way. You will receive two edits minimum, more for larger weddings and additional hours. I deliver them via Pixieset and Drobox, a digital delivery service. You can share them with friends and family by forwarding the link with the PIN #, and they can download as well.

From the pre-event communications, to the day of, and to the post-production, Dawn made us feel that we were in good hands throughout (and the final products have proved that we were)! Dawn really cares! On the day of, she's like a big sister who wants to make the day as smooth as possible.
If you're getting married on Big Island, you NEED to use Dawn! Dawn was incredibly professional and timely in her responses from the beginning to the end. We are so thankful that we had Dawn as our photographer and the photos really speak for themselves.
We didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day related to our photos. Dawn was right there and captured the magic of our wedding day perfectly. 100% would choose her again, we're so unbelievably happy she decided to photograph our wedding for us!!!!
You have questions, I have answers!
Depending upon your budget, we do recommend mirroring the amount of coverage you have selected with photography if possible. However, we can certainly work with less too. Our smallest package starts with one hour and we can discuss what elements you’d like to capture beyond that coverage.
We include a fully edited ceremony film PLUS an artfully crafted highlight film too. You get both films, which is wonderful for reliving the ceremony as well as the highlights of your wedding day for years to come!
Both films will usually be delivered within 4-6 weeks. We are very proud of the super quick turnaround time for video!
Yes! We have converted Dawn’s special editing “film style” preset into a video layer, so we will match your photos and video styles.
